General Terms and Conditions

2. Scope of Application
These general terms and conditions apply to all online sales conducted through the Lidy's webshop to consumers. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms and conditions in full.

3. Products
All jewelry is handcrafted. Minor variations in color, shape, or finish are inherent to the artisanal nature of my work and do not constitute a defect. Products are categorized into:

• Standard products
• Personalized products (Bespoke/Custom-made)

4. Pricing
All listed prices are expressed in Euros and include VAT unless otherwise specified. Applicable shipping costs are clearly indicated before the order is finalized. I reserve the right to adjust prices; however, orders will always be invoiced at the price applicable at the time of purchase.

5. Order and Payment
An order is considered final upon receipt of payment. Payments are processed through the secure payment methods offered on the webshop.

6. Shipping and Delivery

6.1 Delivery Timeframes
Delivery occurs within the timeframe specified on the product page (production time + shipping). If no specific delivery timeframe is provided, the order will be delivered within a maximum of 30 days after placement.

6.2 Liability
The risk of loss or damage remains with Lidy's until the moment the package is delivered to the customer.

7. Right of Withdrawal – Standard Products
For non-personalized products, the customer has a right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days starting from the day of receipt. Following notification of withdrawal, the customer has an additional 14 days to return the product.

7.1 Return Conditions

• The product must be unworn and in its original condition.
• Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Personalized Products (Bespoke)
Personalized products are manufactured to order according to customer specifications (e.g., color, stone, finish, size). In accordance with legal exceptions for personalized goods, the right of withdrawal does not apply to these items. Returns are not accepted except in cases of manufacturing defects, damage upon delivery, or non-conformity with agreed specifications, in which case I offer repair or replacement where possible.

9. Voluntary Commercial Gesture
While no legal right of withdrawal exists for bespoke items, I may, in exceptional cases and at my sole discretion, accept a return as a commercial gesture. This does not constitute a legal obligation and will result in a personal credit voucher valid for 12 months, rather than a monetary refund.

10. Refunds
When a return is legally accepted, the refund—including the purchase price and standard shipping costs—will be processed within 14 days of receipt via the original payment method. Costs for express delivery are non-refundable.

11. Depreciation
I reserve the right to charge for any depreciation if a returned product is damaged, worn, or not in its original condition, as permitted by law.

12. Complaints
Complaints should be submitted in writing to jewelry@lidys.be within a reasonable timeframe after discovery. I strive to resolve all matters promptly and professionally.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in the district where Lidy's is established, subject to mandatory statutory provisions.
